Fire 1.0 (Mac OS X)
I really like Fire when it goes, but 4 out of 5 times when I go to connect, for some reason the program crashes & I have to Force Quit out of it. Such a shame as I prefer its design to iChat. [alert admin]

The trouble started with v. 9.0: it crashed every time. I had to wipe the thing & start from scratch with v. 7.0.3 from disc just to get v.8.0 back. If there is another application to replace it, I'll take it!

Why does this consume so much CPU when idle? 
I stopped using iClip due to the CPU load. I like the program, but I don't see why it has to chug away when idle. When something has been doe about that, I'll start using it again.
