Ceefax Viewer 0.1 (Mac OS X)

Navigation Problematic

I got the empty black box. Restarting the system fixed that. It's great to see Ceefax but navigation seems a bit patchy. For example, if I go from the front page, to films on page 540, there are no links to anywhere on page 540. I have to quit and restart the widget to get back to page 100. And why does it state that the date is 23 Mai - why French? [alert admin]

BlogWave Studio 1.1.8 (Mac OS X)

Could be great

Has the potential to be a great piece of software. It is relatively easy to get up and running in a short space of time and there are many nice features but there are a few bugs. None of these bugs are very serious and I have found the developers to be very supportive and quick in their responses. I agree that editable templates would be a terrific addition. [alert admin]

Manic Miner 1.0 (Mac OS X)

Truly amazing...

To see these Speccy titles again. Reminds me that the first thing I did was to hack them to give me infinite lives. Are there any hacks for these? I love them but I don't have the patience anymore! [alert admin]

jPDFViewer 1.02 (Mac OS X)

NOT freeware

As Gene van Troyer says - this is *not* freeware - and at $1000 for 200 licences as your minimum buy, this is not even cheapware. Be commercial, by all means, but don't lie. [alert admin]

Mozilla Firefox 1.0PR 0.10 (Mac OS X)

A couple of problems

I get a generic application icon when I copy Firefox to my Apps folder. Also it reports on startup that my Googlebar and BugMeNot extensions are not compatible and that there are no compatible versions - so I lose those. [alert admin]

MacTarot 0.96 (Mac OS X)

Worked for me

...and was to the point. A save a spread feature would be good. There's a typo in The Star as card 7 "haling" should be "healing". Good start. [alert admin]

QuakeBar 0.80 (Mac OS X)

Excellent

What a cool little app! Seems to be a lot going on in Alaska today - makes me appreciate Northern California, despite its faults. [alert admin]

Canon PowerShot ImageBrowser 3.6 (Mac OS X)

Doesn't work

PowerBook G4 with 512MB RAM running 10.3.3 - the installer quits unexpectedly. Downloaded twice with the same result. Unusable. [alert admin]
