Product Description:

Buddy API is an Xtra for use with Adobe Director and Authorware which allows access to system functions. It contains over 200 functions to read and control system settings and to work with files and dialogs.

What's new in this version:

  • Support for Unicode file names under Director 11.
  • Universal Binary support for Intel Macs.
  • This version only works with Director 11.
  • The Macintosh version now requires registration.
  • The minimum OSX version is 10.4.
  • The following functions are new:
    • baGetFiles
      • displays a file selection dialog
    • baMouseClick
      • simulates a mouse click
    • baMultiDisplayInfo
      • returns information about a display
    • baMultiDisplayList
      • returns a list of installed monitors
    • baSetMultiDisplay
      • changes display settings
    • baBundleApp
      • returns the executable file in a bundle
    • baShell
      • executes a file

getting better and better. It's indespensable for Director developers, and the betas are often as stable as many company's final releases :-)
