Great update but.... - Version: 1.1, 9/18/2008 06:18AM PST

This update addresses some of the problems I had with version 1.0, such as multiple monitors. I just wish it could show me previews of apps such as MS Entourage, Apple Remote Desktop, Rapidweaver and Toast that I have hidden, instead of showing me a black preview.
Great!

This latest version of Fantasktik address many of the issues of the introductory 1.0 version, including the addition of preview hide and position protection (so windows aren't hidden beneath the interface). It is a very slick program in its current form that with a couple of updates could end being the ultimate dock replacement. Additionally, the author of the software was very approachable when I emailed her some questions.
Doesn't work in Spaces

I really like this app and I think it has the potential to be one of those "must have" utilities. In addition to the "wish list" items that "jspectre" notes below, I'd like to see this work with Leopard's Spaces. It currently only shows up in one space (it's a Prefs Pane so you can't add it to the Spaces list). I contacted the developer and they're aware of this limitation and are trying to pry some API stuff loose from Apple so it will work within the Spaces framework.
The developer was very responsive and is eager to satisfy users who submit suggestions.
I'm going to purchase this quite soon. It's quite a helpful and novel addition.
