Product Description:

RadioRocker is the simple way to listen to terrestrial radio on your Mac. This isn't a streamer for internet radio, RadioRocker contains over 5,000 stations from across the United States. Choose what state and choose the station and you're off and running. RadioRocker is perfect if you want to listen to a sporting event in another state or town. For instance: if you're from Massachusetts and you miss listening to WBZ NewsRadio 1030 for all your news, simply pull up the list for Massachusetts, double-click on WBZ. All of a sudden you're listening to WBZ right on your Mac. Want to listen to a game in Pittsburgh? Select Pennsylvania as the state and choose your favorite station. Like the mix of a station in California, but you live in Virginia, select California as the state and choose the station.

What's new in this version:

  • Minor fixes to loading streams

RadioRocker CommentaryToo Bad - Version: 1.2.7, 8/23/2008 09:38PM PST

This still sucks, sorry to say. iTunes radio stations are much better. If you like a certain station/s just bookmark their web sites. The application is full of nothing I would ever listen to.

Where is all the Rock-n-Roll, the Blues, and Reggae. That's why the Pagan Gods created radio, not for Christian, NPR, jazz, talk, and all those other silly ones that I've never heard of and are totally boring. It's like eating cold wet card board for breakfast.

95% of the stations don't even work.

I gave this 2 tries and it will never be ready for me. I had a free copy and still trashed it. IMHO.

1. all presets fail to work giving an Applescript error when set into the tuner panel
2. no way to toggle the lists alphabetically so you have to manually scan every single listing if you want a particular city only

I emailed this developer 4 times already with input of his application and bug reports. He refuses to respond at all, but willingly takes your cash. Don't waste your money on this item for it is money down the toilet as is
