Oops I meant "Searchlight" in my review. I accidentally called it Spotlight because that's all it does for $100. (FarFinder has Spotlight built in)

A great app that has saved my hide a few times already. Easy to install and set up so you don't have to be a network guru like you do with some sharing apps. Didn't work correctly at first because of a bad release, but the developer was very helpful and honest about that (see his blog) and it's been running like a dream on my iMac ever since.

Like another poster I'm surprised there aren't more reviews here for FarFinder. It's better than any competing apps I've found. You pay 3 times as much for Spotlight and that doesn't even let you browse your files!

Pity a few people like the ones below seem to have been put off by one bad release - they're missing out.

Too complicated for me to handle at this stage. instructions are not clear at all, e.g. lots of passwords are floating around, and it is not clear when to use what. Restart does not work. And this later version does not like Safari (more stable on Firefox).
BTW, Uninstalling does not work at all. You need to look for all associated files via (say) EasyFind, trash them manually, and then use the Empty Secure trash.
