Product Description:

I'm one of those people that always rate their songs. Most of the time because I prefer to listen to my favorite music on my iPod when running on the streets. But for me it was just too much effort to open iTunes and rate the song that is currently playing. That is why I developed Funes. An easy to use application that lets me choose the rating by clicking the stars in the status menu. You use the application by clicking the Funes-icon in the status menu. You can see the current playing song and the current rating. By clicking a star you select a new rating. It's just that simple! Did I mention it's freeware?

What's new in this version:

added empty icon when itunes is not running or not playing music
added starred icon when a rating is set

It's very simple. You run the app, and it adds a menu icon to the menu bar. It has 2 options, horizontal star rating bar, and Quit. Couldn't be easier.

It would be cool to be able to display the song name, the current rating, or both in the menu bar instead of the icon. The stars in the menu bar wouldn't need to be changeable from the bar, but just activate the application's menu. You wouldn't even need a preferences window. It could all be done with a preferences callout/submenu with the 4 options (Icon, song title, rating, both song title and rating).

Just a thought. Great work!
