Product Description:
ThumbPrinter is a thumbnail generator that is very useful for generating an image catalog of images. ThumbPrinter automatically scans a starting folder for all images and prints out a contact sheet with user specified information about each image.

- Scan any folder for images. It will continue into other folders it finds in the starting folder navigating the whole file hierarchy generating thumbnail images of each image it finds.
- Show the file name below each image
- Show the file size below each image (disk size and pixel size)
- Show the path to each set of images
- User configurable number of images across
- Access to layout preferences: Page Margins, Minimum Font Sizes, Maximum Font Sizes, Distance between images, Thumbnail Resolution.
What's new in this version:
- [New] New Option to Skip files with certain file extensions. (Such as RAW files that might cause issues with ThumbPrinter)
- [Change] The ThumbPrinter website has moved to www.crystalballsoft.com. All links have been updated in this version.

96% of the world is NOT American and does not use stupid inches. Some preferences — cannot switch to the logical metric system. That alone is enough to keep me away from buying this. tool. Statistically, you too. Wake up, developer!
Critical Error...now a dead app? - Version: 1.5.1, 3/13/2008 09:27AM PST

Just upgraded my OS to 10.5 and downloaded T.P.1.5.1, on opening it up, the error console pops up and notes a critical error. ThumbPrinter now only pumps out blank pages as contact sheets. Did 10.5 kill this great app? The developer last touched this little app a year ago, and now that comments are so out of date, it looks like ThumbPrinter is relegated to back-burner obscurity. A shareware has-been? I'd hate to think it, because it is SO much better than the Photoshop Contact Sheet creator...Joseph Sharp [developer] come back to us! We love this app!

I was stuck for a program to print or PDF batch images/photos supplied by clients on DVD for different jobs. The images being stored in numerous folder with loads of hierarchies had to be viewed and printed for a briefing to discuss what images to use. This was just the ticket. It prints folder location, name and image titles etc.
Quicker than other cataloging software
I even emailed the developer with a problem and surgestions and he emailed back very quickly with solutions that were in the next update.
