Product Description:

Imagine a program which automatically fills in missing information in your music library. MPFreaker searches the internet to find out what album that song belongs to, the year that song was released, what genre that album belongs to, track numbers, even album cover artwork and lyrics -- and automatically adds this information directly into your song files, in seconds.

By using industry standard methods, you can see and access the new information MPFreaker adds in any audio player which recognizes these standard information "tags", including iTunes and the iPod. Artwork added by MPFreaker shows on an iPod's "Now Playing" screen!

The beta only updates 3 tunes per launch. Not enough to give it a good test.
It looked promising on the bit of testing I did.

Sorting by lyrics column flakey, and eventually crashed.

Incorrect data.. typos in the 'corrected' id3 data.. wrong artist / album info on a lot of tracks.. incorrect album art.. no comment editor.. and the worst part (besides paying for this POS) there isn't an 'UNDO' option..

If you turn this thing loose on your iTunes library, you better be selective about which files you allow it to do its thing with.. I screwed up and let it have its way with my entire library.. It replaced well over half of my album artwork (from iTunes) and re-wrote a lot of the album info (from iTunes) with bogus entries that only an eleventeen year old could have come up with.

You are better off (and have more control) using the 'get info' selection directly in iTunes than to use this twenty dollar turd..

I like it that much I bought it. It does what it says it will, it hasn’t crashed or caused any problems. With that and beaTunes I’ve never had such a well sorted music collection
