Product Description:

TrueBlue is a free font conversion utility that converts True Type fonts (TTF) to PostScript Type 1 fonts (PS).
PS Fonts are required by Stone Design's PStill - the low cost alternative PS/EPS to PDF (aka Acrobat?) writer. PStill allows you to automatically view and incorporate legacy EPS, Freehand, Illustrator and PS files as PDF on Mac OS X.
TrueBlue provides a one-click interface to install fonts into PStill.
PDF, the Portable Document Format, is the lengua franca of Mac OS X. No matter how you scale, skew, rotate, flip, mask, annotate your PDF, you will get perfectly crisp output at any resolution on any platform.

...and this tool might do a nice job of producing them (haven't tried it), but as long as we're on the topic of freeware and Distiller, what about good ol' Apple Preview? Drag a PS file onto it and it happily converts it to PDF. No Distiller required for most of us. Granted, it doesn't do the high-end things like cross-refs, hyperlinks and prepress stuff, but if you don't need that the price is certainly right.
