Recent reports (as of 08/18/08) in ZDnet and elsewhere refer to miscreants using booby-trapped Flash banner ads to hijack clipboards for use in rogue security software attacks.

OK, have tried this on Mac Pro (Intel PCUs) and G4 PowerBook, both running 10.5.4 without problems.
Ran the Flash uninstaller as recommended. Then installed this release, no problems encountered.
Then, on my Mac Pro my home page is Excite, been using it for years, and it loaded as it has been of late, slow to complete, but does load.
On my G4 PowerBook I cannot get the Excite page to load, only a couple of ads. Tons of Java script errors.
At least on the PowerBook I will be going back to the previous version I was using.
I fault Excite, but my home page is my home page and even if others work, like VersionTracker does, that doesn't help.
