Toast Titanium Commentaryhow I succeeded in downloading the 9.0.2 updater... - Version: 9.0.2, 8/9/2008 12:12AM PST

Well, after many failures trying to download the Toast Titanium v9.0.2 updater using my Mac, I had the "insight" to try downloading the file onto a Linux machine, using FireFox 2. Sure enough, the download worked properly the first time.

My guess is that the problems I had in downloading this updater are Mac-specific, or Mac-browser-specific.

I'm also guessing that anyone using a Windows PC will also be able to download the updater.

Of course, since Toast Titanium 9 IS Mac software, it would be nice if Roxio fixed all these problems in downloading the software using a Macintosh!

Toast Titanium Commentaryanother "impossible to download" comment... - Version: 9.0.2, 8/8/2008 11:03PM PST

I can only agree with other commenters, who are unable to download the Toast Titanium 9.0.2 updater. I succeeded, after much trouble, in creating a new registration with the site (after they did not send me a link to change my old user name's now forgotten password). I have since then done everything I could think of (and I am a 20 year computer professional) to download the 9.0.2 updater from the Roxio web site, with NO SUCCESS:

- The "Download" button at their site has repeatedly only switched me over to the "Ask RoxAnn" automated (and useless in this case) "ask a question" window, regardless of browser I use or privileges granted to the browser. "RoxAnn" of course blames download problems on the user, natch.

- When "Ask RoxAnn" failed to offer relevant assistance, I then clicked a link to send an email to customer service; a web page opened to allow me to formulate a comment to be sent to Roxio customer service, which I did very carefully; I then clicked the "Send" button - and an error msg - from their side - appears. So it appears the web site not only is not working properly in terms of our ability to download the Toast 9.0.2 updater; it's also not even possible to send an email to the company alerting them of the problems they are having. Someone at Roxio needs to wake up and get these problems fixed IMHO.

Besides the apparent errors in the functioning of the Roxio web site, the company in my opinion is going way out of its way to make it difficult to contact them. This is no way to handle customer relations, in my opinion.

Having exhausted my patience, and having only the possibililty at this time of either paying to access their tech support services, or attempting to call the company directly (difficult for me due to time zone and other scheduling problems), I opt to just wait until someone on the Roxio side wakes up and figures out that their web site is not working properly. (I'm too cynical at this point to hope they will reduce the barriers to our contacting them even on simple matters such as this.)

Has ANYONE succeeded in downloading the 9.0.2 updater from Roxio? Thanks for indicating how you accomplished this miracle...
